Trevor Fry and the rest of Troop 146 of Quartz Hill worked two days at Horse Camp this weekend. I was there as well, and found a bunch of blowdowns along the trail. Here is a slideshow of photos.
This blog is for sharing of Pacific Crest Trail Section E trail info with PCTA leadership and volunteer trail workers, adopters and volunteer organizations, National Forest personnel, and local trail hostels. While not all-inclusive of trail conditions, it's more of a log of trail inventories and when available, specific information from users. I hope you find it useful as a means of sharing info! - Kevin

We must have hiked it the next weekend. Great job, Scouts! Horse Camp looks fantastic. Lots of downed trees just before it, requiring tromping off-trail. Once past Horse Camp, just a few more trees on the way to the summit
